To encourage Meskwaki seniors to maintain a healthier lifestyle by offering nutritional information, assistance, services, and cultural-related classes and opportunities.
About Our Services
Meskwaki Senior Services offers meals, a food pantry, nutrition information, transportation assistance, and activities. Enrolled Meskwaki seniors that are 55 years and over are eligible to receive and redeem coupons at the Meskwaki Casino. Discounts range from free meals to “coins!” If you are 55+, you can call in at 641-484-9224 and ask to speak to the director on how to sign up for services.
Senior Events
Meskwaki Senior Services hosts a birthday meal for the 55+ seniors and is open to the public. Birthday meals are held on the last Thursday of every month. We do encourage those wishing to attend to call in the day before a birthday meal if you plan to attend to ensure our cooks make enough for our attendees. Meals are free to seniors and $8.00 for non-seniors.

What age do you need to be to get services?
You must be 55+ years and an elder intake form must be filled out.
Can my spouse receive services such as a meal?
Yes, spouses qualify as long as the senior who is receiving services is 55 years or older, an enrolled member, or if he or she qualifies under the Title VI grant, and an elder intake form is on file.
Once we turn 55 years old, do we receive the coupon book from Meskwaki Senior Services?
No, you do not. You will now go to Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel and sign up at Club Meskwaki for the senior coupons. Please take with you an updated ID.
Can Meskwaki Senior Services take me to any destination such as medical appointments?
Meskwaki Senior Services offers transportation assistance if CHRs are unavailable for medical appointments. Meskwaki Senior Services offers transportation assistance if Tatum Lasley is unavailable for grocery runs, bank runs, Walmart, etc. Please reach out to Meskwaki Health Clinic for CHRs and for Tatum Lasley at 641-484-4094. If those two are unavailable for transport, please let Meskwaki Senior Services know you need transport two (2) days in advance.
