Our Mission

The mission of the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission is to enforce the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, the Compact with the State of Iowa, and the Tribe’s own Gaming Ordinance and regulations in a manner that is fair, ethical, and respectful of all and without compromise. Our commitment and dedication will promote and foster an atmosphere of integrity, security, and fairness at Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel for the Members-Owners of the Meskwaki Nation and their patrons and employees.

What We Do

The Sac & Fox Gaming Commission determines the licensing eligibility of all Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel (MBCH) applicants, employees, and vendors to hold a Gaming or Non-Gaming license in order to obtain or maintain a Gaming or Non-Gaming license. A license is a revocable privilege granted by the Gaming Commission to perform a job or to do an act upon gaming premises. Federal regulations state that a Tribe shall develop licensing procedures for all employees of a gaming operation.

The Gaming Commission establishes internal controls, tests gaming machines to ensure their integrity, ensures the safety of patrons, protects the tribal assets, and enforces compliance with regulations by imposing sanctions, fines, and when necessary prosecution.

The Gaming Commission also handles the requests for banned individuals who wish to patronize Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel (MBCH) as well as reinstating bans when necessary. It is the responsibility of any person petitioning the Gaming Commission for the reinstatement of their patronage privileges to prove to the Gaming Commission they no longer present a risk to tribal assets, the integrity of the gaming on Tribal property, or the safety of the public and employees.
