Youth Program Halloween Masquerade Powwow

Meskwaki Youth Development Program will be hosting a Halloween Masquerade Powwow on Saturday, October 28th at the Meskwaki Recreation & Community Center! Registration opens at 4:00pm. Grand Entry at 5:00pm. There will be Costume Contests, Cake Contest, Pumpkin Carving Contest, and Food Vendors!
Halloween Costume Contests – 3 Places for Each Category
- Cutest Baby (0-24 Months)
- Scaries Baby (0-24 Months)
- Tiny Tots (3-6 Years)
- Youth (7-12 Years)
- Teens (13-17 Years)
- Adults (18+)
Halloween Cake Contest – 3 Places will Receive Gift Card
- Bring your cake by 6pm for judging
- All cakes will be used for a cake walk
Halloween Pumpkin Carving Contest – Two Categories with 3 Places for Each Category, Sponsored by the Meskwaki Apprenticeship Program
- Most Creative – 3 Places
- Most Scariest – 3 Places
- Bring your pumpkins by 6pm for judging
*No outside chairs allowed.
