Workforce Development, Red Earth Gardens and Meskwaki Food Sovereignty will be having an LFPA Grant sponsored Community Food Giveaway on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 1:00-4:00pm at Red Earth Gardens.
Open to ALL Meskwaki Tribal Community members and other native households within the community.
*One per household. **While supplies last, first come first serve basis. 150 available.
Included in this food distribution:
- Wild Rice from Big River Trading Company out of Tama, Iowa
- Sausage from 99 Counties out of Keystone, Iowa
- Chicken breasts from 99 Counties out of Keystone, Iowa
- 12 Pack of Kombucha from Morning Light Kombucha out of Hoyt, Kansas
