On September 13, Ag & Food Sovereignty hosted our first annual Green Corn Festival! This seasonal meal and celebration took the place of past years’ Fall Harvest Celebration. We opted to host the event at the Powwow Grounds, and after a meal that highlighted a bounty of seasonal vegetables, we celebrated the season with some harvest dances.

Tyler Lasley for being an excellent MC. Galen Thompson, Tyler Lasley, Luke Kapayou, Dugee Tyon, Levi, and Maximus – who stepped in to be our drum group.
