Farmers Market

The Meskwaki Farmers Market was held on Thursday, June 25, from 5–7 p.m. at the front casino parking lot, bringing together Red Earth Gardens, Meskwaki Food Sovereignty, Meskwaki Nation Workforce Development, local vendors, artists, food makers, and community members for an evening of shopping, food, and fellowship.

This market marked the first time in the new casino front parking lot location, and the move helped bring in more patrons and a great turnout. Community members stopped by to support vendors offering BBQ sandwiches, specialty drinks, baked goods, jellies, clothing, Indigenous apparel, Native jewelry, artwork, and more.

Red Earth Gardens also shared fresh produce, including fruits and vegetables, along with honey and other locally grown goods. The evening was a great opportunity to support local growers, makers, and small businesses while bringing the community together.

Join us for the next Farmers Market on July 9 from 5–7 p.m. at the front casino parking lot!
