MAPA Princess Competition

It’s time for MAPA’s Annual Princess competition. Join us Wednesday, August 5 at 7:00 PM at Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel’s outdoor arena (behind casino) to watch the competition.

The Meskwaki Princess Competition is an opportunity to represent Meskwaki Nation at powwows, parades, and other engagements.

The position encourages positive achievement by helping to nurture and build creative accomplishment, healthy living, and community involvement in our Nation’s youth. This competition is intended to encourage and reward the talent, communication skills, and community service of girls between 10 and 17 years of age.

THOSE WISHING TO PARTICIPATE, please show up at 6:30PM to register!!!! Must be:

~ Meskwaki Ancestry (Enrolled or Descendant)
~ Good moral character
~ Must be able to introduce themselves in Meskwaki
~ Alcohol & drug free
~ Must have no children
~ Must wear traditional regalia
~ Positively represent the Tribe at powwows/travel to represent their title
~ 10 to 17 years old
