Diabetes: March into Health

March 1, 2023 - March 31, 2023

Let’s March into Health by getting 10,000 steps per day by walking at the Tribal Center Gym or using a treadmill at the Wellness Center.

On average, you need to walk 1 hour and 40 minutes each day to reach the 10,000 steps goal. Please do not let this discourage you from walking. If you are unable to take 10,000 steps each day, that is okay! The goal is to exercise at least 30 minutes each day to improve your health.

March into Health 10,000 Steps Per Day Challenge

When: March 1st through March 31st
Where: Tribal Center or Wellness Center Treadmills
Sign-in sheets will be at both locations
Incentives: All participants will receive a Meskwaki Diabetes terry cloth towel. *Participants that reach the 10,000 steps per day goal in March will receive a $50 Dick’s Sporting Goods gift card. (Must be Native American to be eligible for incentives.)
