CRUISE WITH THE BLUES

Cruise with us through Tama/Toledo, then join us for food and festivities at the Meskwaki Casino RV Park!
Cruise: Not just classic cars, ALL vehicles welcome! Drivers will line up at the STC Middle School in Toledo starting at 4pm. To show our solidarity throughout the cruise, provided blue ribbons will be fastened/tied to each vehicle. Taking off at 5pm, we’ll drive through Toledo into Tama via Broadway/McClellan streets and end at the Civic Center in Tama. (See map below for exact route.) From there, drivers will take their preferred route to the RV Park located just south of (behind) the Meskwaki Casino. All entrants will have a designated parking area upon arrival.
Food & Festivities: Meal and children’s activities will begin at 5pm at the RV Park. Pork burgers and pulled pork donated by JBS. Children’s activities include a chance to dunk an Officer in the dunk tank, face painting, archery, bouncy house and more! Live musical performances by Jonah Seymour and later followed by the Meskwaki drum group Meskwaki Nation.
The Car Show contest will commence as the drivers make their way to the RV Park. Spectators will purchase “wooden nickels” 4 for $1.00, proceeds of which will be donated to the Tama County Humane Society. Empty buckets will be placed in front of each car where voters will drop their nickels as a vote for “Best in Show.” Voting will end at 7pm. The vehicle with the most nickels by the end of the evening will win a commemorative plaque made by Sac & Fox/Comanche artist Charles “Dukon” Harris.
We invite everyone to join us at the end of the night for a chance to dance to the beautiful songs of Meskwaki Nation!
