The Meskwaki Health Clinic sponsored a Breast Cancer Awareness Run/Walk on Friday, October 23rd at the Meskwaki Rec Center.
Under the theme “Resilience in Every Step,” the walk brought the community together to honor survivors, support awareness, and ensure that no one fights alone.
Participants completed the route during a stunning sunset, where the vibrant colors of autumn accentuated the natural beauty of the Meskwaki Settlement. Following the event, attendees enjoyed food, drinks, and commemorative hoodies.
