The Meskwaki Language Preservation department gifted books to the Child Care classes at the Rec Center this morning. These Meskwaki language children’s books are illustrated by Dawson Davenport and written with the assistance of Meskwaki Language Preservation Director Wayne Pushetonequa. The department hopes to present the books in digital form, complete with audio clips, in the near future.
