Meskwaki Senior Services invited Waylon Wolf, Red Earth Gardens Instructional Farm Manager, to lead a group discussion today.
The elders had a nice chat with Waylon, asking about everything from planting tips and raising chickens to keeping deer and rabbits out of their gardens. They also discussed beeswax sales, canning, garden transplants, and the new peach trees. Morel mushroom hunting came up too, along with the chance to visit the chicks at the farm.
