On Monday, July 13th, the Meskwaki Nation celebrated the 169th anniversary of the Tribe purchasing it’s first 80 acres of land – also known as, Meskwaki Proclamation Day.
Meskwaki Tribal Chairwoman, Lucie Roberts, shared some words that reflect the appreciation and gratitude the Tribe holds on this day.
