August Birthday Celebration at Meskwaki Senior Services
Today, Meskwaki Senior Services held a special celebration to recognize community elders with August birthdays. Everyone enjoyed a nice meal, followed by cake, ice cream, and gifts for those celebrating.
This month’s birthday honorees included Kimberly Ward, Jana Kapayou-Bear, Jerry Youngbear, Jr., Gary Morgan, Johnathan Buffalo, Laurie Lasley-Santos, Alvina Walker, and Lou Ann Mitchell. Everyone in attendance joined together to sing “Happy Birthday” and share in the celebration.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to honor our elders and celebrate another year of life, laughter, and community.
