NOTICE TO PUBLIC
At its regular meeting convened on October 1, 2025, the Tribal Council approved the following changes to Title 13 Sec. 13-6606 of the Sac & Fox Tribe of the Mississippi in Iowa to be sent for a 30-day comment period:
Sec. 13-6606. Organization of the Probation and Parole Department.
- The Probation and Parole Department shall be managed by a Department Director, subject to supervision by the Chief Judge of the Tribal Court Chief of Police of the Meskwaki Nation Police Department.
- (b) The Department shall be comprised of one or more adult and/or juvenile probation-parole officers, support staff, and such other personnel as may be deemed necessary and approved through the Tribal Council budget.
All comments should be submitted in writing to the Office of the Attorney General no later than 4: 30 p.m. November 3rd, 2025.
