The Election Committee of the Sac & Fox Tribe of the Mississippi in Iowa having conducted the Primary Election in accordance with Chapter 4, Title 8. Election Code of the Sac & Fox Tribe of the Mississippi in Iowa and counting the votes cast in said election hereby notify you of the following results:

After an automatic recount was conducted and the results of the recount were confirmed, the Election Committee is unable to determine which candidate’s name shall appear on the ballot for the General Election as a tie has occurred between the final two (2) candidates, Paige Brown and Anthony Waseskuk. Therefore, the Election Committee has determined a Special Election is necessary in order to reduce the names of eligible candidates from nine (9) to eight (8) for the 2025 General Election ballot as required in Title 8. Elections Code.
Voter Summary – There were a total of 8.43. eligible voters for the 2025 Primary Election. 222 eligible voters cast their vote. Four ( 4) ballots were spoiled and not counted. The top seven (7) candidates receiving the most votes will be listed as candidates on the ballot for the General Election. The final candidate’s name appearing on the ballot for the General Election shall be listed after a Special Election takes place.
