SUBJECT: Results of Nomination Meetings held on October 14 & 15, 2025

Nomination meetings were held on October 14, 2025 and October 15, 2025 in accordance with Title 8, Chapter 4, Sec. 8-4402 of the Sac and Fox Tribe of the Mississippi in Iowa Tribal Election Code. Nominations to select twelve (12) candidates whose names shall appear on the 2025 Primary Election ballot for four (4) Tribal Council terms expiring November 2025. The following candidates, in alphabetical order by last name, will appear on the Primary Election Ballot on October 21, 2025.

Voter Summary.
Voters were required to meet Eligibility Requirements as defined by Title 8, Article II of the Tribal Election Code.

There are currently 842 eligible voters. On October 14, 2025 the number of eligible voters in attendance at 7:00 p.m. was 13 (9 + 4 committee members). 30% of eligible voters were needed. A tribal quorum of two hundred and forty-seven (247) voters was required. The Tribal quorum was not met.

On October 15, 2025 the number of eligible voters in attendance at 7:00 p.m was 69. No tribal quorum was required to conduct this meeting.

Election Committee Summary:
• Nomination procedures were followed as defined in Sec. 8-4402, Chapter 4, Title. 8 Election Code.

• The following nominees did not qualify for the Primary Election: Garrett Bear (25); Sean Bear (24); Apollo Davenport (20); Harvey Davenport (24); Ricky Keahna, Sr. (23); Diahann Wanatee (18); Donica Wanatee (19); Frank Wanatee, Jr. (19); Priscilla Wanatee (13); Troy Wanatee (17); Ferol Ward (19).

• Election Committee present 10/14/25: Zachary Wanatee, Chairperson; Alexis Walker, Vice Chairperson; Leigh A. Lasley, Secretary; Vestana Lasley, Member.
