On Monday, August 8, The Northeast Iowa Food Bank held a Community Food Distribution for the Meskwaki Nation in the Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel parking lot. All community residents were invited to drive through and pick up prepackaged boxes of canned goods, a case of propel water, and a pillow, all of which were donated by Martin Brothers, Target, and Feeding America. Employees from Red Earth Gardens and members of the PTEC crew volunteered their time to help with the distribution. Thank you to all who helped make this happen for our community!
