Save the Date for the 2019 Meskwaki Holiday Expo Event!
Friday, November 29th through Sunday, December 1st to be held in the Meskwaki Veteran’s Convention Center at the Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel. Open Daily! Friday and Saturday, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm and Sunday, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
What to expect at the Meskwaki Holiday Expo:

Join the Meskwaki Diabetes Program along with the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach program for Free Well-being Lunch and Learns on Tuesdays in December and January from 12:00 – 12:45 pm at the Meskwaki Health Clinic. A FREE lunch will be provided at each Lunch and Learn!

Join the Meskwaki Family Services as they host a Community Holiday Party on Thursday, December 5th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the Tribal Center Gym!
There will be cookie decorating, a bounce house, hot chocolate bar and make and take ornament station. There will also be goodie bags for children (while supplies last).
Dinner will be served – Menu TBA!
Join the Meskwaki Juvenile Probation Department as they host the SANTA Dash on Saturday, December 7th at the Meskwaki Tribal Center. Registration begins at 9:00 am, Santa Dash starts at 9:30 am. Come run with our Youth!
Wear and run in your favorite Santa or Holiday gear! There will be t-shirt while supplies last.

Annual FREE Rabies and Mange Clinic on Dec. 7th
Join MNR for the Annual FREE Rabies and Mange Clinic on Saturday, Dec. 7th from 10:00 AM until 2:00 pm at the MSS Maintenance Building (1610 305th St, Tama, IA).
This Free event is for Meskwaki Community Members with dogs and cats. Have your dogs and cats receive a free veterinary physical exam, get your dog(s) and cat(s) vaccinated against rabies!

Santa Dash has been rescheduled to take place this Saturday, December 14th at the Justice Center. Registration at 9:00 am and the Santa Dash starts at 9:30 am.
Wear your favorite Santa and/or Holiday Gear and come run with our youth!
T-shirts while supplies last.

Meskwaki Natural Resources will have Ground, Stew and Roasts available to Tribal Members on Wednesday, Dec. 18th from 9:00-10:00 AM and from 5:00-6:00 PM at the Tribal Center Entrance.
Holiday Meat Distribution, 5lbs for Enrolled Members. *Receive one extra pound of ground meat if you bring a reusable bag!
Specialty parts available at the South Farm Office: kidney, liver, heart and tongue. Sign up for hides and skulls too!

Join us for dinner and an educational session on diabetes and oral health on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 starting at 5:00 pm in the MBCH Convention Center.
Presenter: Dr. Sukirth Ganesan, Assistant Professor of Periodontics at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.
Menu: Roast Beef with Au Jus, Broasted Chicken, Wild Rice Pilaf, Whole Grain Roll, Cookie served with Coffee or Water.
