MSS Winter Concert

The Meskwaki Settlement School Music Department presented a memorable Winter Extravaganza Concert filled with holiday spirit and community pride. Early Childhood through 5th grade opened the evening with joyful holiday songs that featured a Meskwaki twist, delighting the audience with their energy and confidence.

The celebration continued with performances by the 6th grade band, the 7th and 8th grade band, and the high school band, each group sharing festive music that showcased their growing skill and dedication.

A special highlight of the night came from Keki Bear and Jaymison Hill, who sang and drummed two festive songs that honored tradition and brought warmth to the gym.

The evening concluded with a powerful performance of Carol of the Bells, played by the combined 6th through 12th grade band. Their unified sound brought the audience to its feet and wrapped up the concert with a strong sense of togetherness and pride.
Congratulations to all the students on their outstanding performances and for making the night truly special.
