On Friday, September 20th the Meskwaki Settlement School’s Homecoming started with Coronation and their Homecoming Court, which took place in the high school gym. At the Coronation, Nisan Kapayou and Payton Tahahwah were named Meskwaki’s Homecoming King and Queen. Followed by the Coronation was the parade. After the parade was the pep rally which took place back in the gym. Then a chili cook-off occurred before the homecoming football game.
