Tribal Pesticide Program Council Membership and Representative Approval

With the leadership and level of the MNR pesticide/pollinator program, region 7 tribes elected MNR director as the representative for R7 RTOC. It has been discussed that a position supporting pesticides and pollinator work for all the regional tribes may be potentially housed at MNR. The tribe’s membership with the TPPC would provide a voice on large-scale issues, voice concerns, and provide input on how the council operates. Selecting the MNR Director as the representative will provide direct implementation into the natural resource programs that take place on the settlement and work to bring funding back to the tribe and region.
