Meskwaki Nation Police Department (MNPD) is looking for Meskwaki Mentors to teach and guide Meskwaki Youth on a turkey hunt.
Benefits of being a Mentor:
- A great opportunity to give back to the community and to strengthen bonds with the next generation of hunters.
- Pass along teachings that have been gifted to you from our many great past hunters.
- Mentors will teach and assist youth in processing the birds.
- A customized turkey call will be gifted to each participant.
Sign up by Tuesday, March 22nd.
MNPD Firearms Instructor Sgt. Kole Northland will instruct a Firearms Safety Course that ALL participants must attend on April 8th. All equipment will be provided.
Mandatory backgrounds checks are required, and will be completed before the event in order to participate.
