This project will develop digital recordings that will provide language learners with the opportunity to hear genuine interactional conversations between fluent elder speakers. This will be a twenty-four month project.
Project Participants:
Meskwaki Elders I Field Recorder (2) I Audio Editor/Transcriber (2)
The project requires Meskwaki-speaking elders to provide audio content.
Two individuals to go out in the field and do the actual recording and two individuals to edit and transcribe the digital recordings captured. These individuals will need to be semi-fluent in the Meskwaki language in order to complete tasks assigned. Monetary stipends will be provided for all participants.
