Meskwaki Food Sovereignty is announcing a call for artists to submit a design that represents the program and mission:
“To secure food sovereignty by seeding, growing, and harvesting Meskwaki indigenous knowledge and life-ways.”
Meskwaki language is encouraged and design limited to 2 colors.
SUBMISSIONS ACCEPTED UNTIL DECEMBER 24TH
T-shirts with the selected design and Meskwaki Food Sovereignty logo will be given out to community members who complete the Food Sovereignty Assessment.
The Meskwaki Food Sovereignty Survey will occur January 3rd-31st in an online and hard copy format. More information about the survey and t-shirt giveaway will be announced at a later date.
Artist of the selected design will receive a $200 stipend for their time and design rights.
