Language Bingo

Meskwaki community members gathered on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Senior Services for a morning of language and learning during a special Language Bingo event. Led by Dawson Davenport of the Meskwaki Language Preservation Department, the activity combined fun with cultural education, as participants shared new Meskwaki words and practiced proper pronunciation together throughout the games. As each round concluded, winners were invited to select prizes from a generous collection of donated items, adding excitement to the experience. The event highlighted the importance of preserving and passing on the Meskwaki language, bringing the community together through laughter, learning, and BINGO!
