Meskwaki community members gathered on Wednesday, June 10 at Senior Services for a morning of language and learning during a Language Bingo session. Led by Dawson Davenport of the Meskwaki Language Preservation Department, the activity combined fun with cultural education, as participants shared new Meskwaki words and practiced proper pronunciation together throughout the games. As each round concluded, winners were invited to select prizes from a generous collection of donated items. The event highlighted the importance of preserving and passing on the Meskwaki language through laughter, learning, and BINGO!
