June Birthday Lunch at Meskwaki Senior Services
Today we came together at Meskwaki Senior Services to honor our community elders with June birthdays. Everyone enjoyed a delicious meal of spare ribs & NDN corn, besibemiyetea, tagaani, wabikoni, summer sausage, cheese & crackers, followed by cake and ice cream. This month we celebrated Leann Morgan, Mary Lasley, Vance Brown, Tonya Bear, Sandra Lasley-Kapayou, Gailyn Kapayou, Ramona Sanache, Beatrice Youngbear, and Dennis Youngbear. We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate our elders and share another year of life, laughter, and community together.
