The Iowa River is expected to crest at approximately 10 ft (2.5 ft BELOW flood stage) tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday, May 21). Central and Northern Iowa are expected to receive heavy rains tonight into Wednesday, so keep up to date with flood predictions using the National Weather Service’s Hydrologic Predictive Service at this link. The observed and forecasted flood stage, seen in the posted image, is updated daily.
