On Thursday, January 2nd Meskwaki Food Sovereignty Initiative hosted a Hunters Feast for the community to come together and eat a traditional meal celebrating seasonal foods and the hunters whose skills provide wild game. The menu included: Buffalo, Deer, Turkey, Beaver, Raccoon, and Squirrel. There was also Archery for All Ages which was sponsored by Meskwaki Natural Resources Fish and Wildlife Branch.
