Meskwaki students wrestling for South Tama County also turned in solid performances. Kayda Devig earned a highlight victory with a pin in 39 seconds, finishing the day with two team points. Seventh grader Taviah Rosenberger had an outstanding performance, winning all three of her matches and scoring six team points. Her wins included a 5–5 decision, a 3–0 decision, and another victory to cap off a perfect day on the mat. This meet also marked the final middle school girls wrestling event of the season. Our Meskwaki wrestlers showed growth, determination, and strong effort throughout the year. With many young athletes gaining valuable experience on the mat, the program is building momentum and looking forward to an even stronger season next year.
