As part of their arts and crafts time during Spring Break, students from the Meskwaki Settlement School created handmade “Get Well Soon” cards for local soldier Josh Steinback, who was recently wounded while serving in Kuwait.
The students took time to write thoughtful messages and design colorful cards filled with encouragement, gratitude, and well wishes. Each card reflected the care and support the young students wanted to share during his recovery.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the children for their kindness and effort. Their words and artwork will surely help lift Josh’s spirits as he continues to recover in the hospital, reminding him that he is supported by his community back home.
