Community members gathered at the Meskwaki Tribal Center Gymnasium on Thursday, June 11, for the first Meskwaki Farmers Market of the season. Due to wet weather conditions, the market was moved indoors, providing a comfortable space for vendors and visitors to connect while shopping for fresh produce, eggs, honey, and other locally grown products.
The Farmers Market continues to support local growers and vendors and promote healthy, community-based food systems. The next Farmers Market is scheduled for Thursday, June 25, at the casino front (north) parking lot. Everyone is welcome!
