Colorectal Cancer Awareness 5K Walk-Run

Meskwaki Health Clinic will be hosting their first 5K Walk-Run on Thursday, March 24th.
March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, this walk-run event is to help bring awareness to colorectal cancer and support for patients, survivors, caregivers and advocates. There will be food and beverages available, and t-shirts while supplies last!
Colorectal Cancer 5K Walk-Run Details:
- Registration at 5:00PM
- Walk-Run Start at 5:30PM
- Location: Meskwaki Health Clinic
- Route: Health Clinic to Casino stop sign and back
Colorectal cancer screening kits will be readily available – screening tests can find precancerous polyps before they turn into cancer. Screening tests can also find colorectal cancer at an early stage, when treatment works best. Regular screening, beginning at age 45 is they key to preventing colorectal cancer and finding it early. Protect yourself, get screened!
