The derecho tree debris pile, located on Battleground Road, is open to community members to take/collect firewood for personal use or for ceremonial/clan house use.
This debris pile will be available for collecting firewood until January 17, 2021. After 01/17/2021, availability cannot be guaranteed. Other locations’ debris piles will become available at a later date.
Please maintain caution when working around the brush pile as heavy logs may shift while working.
**As a reminder, in accordance with Tribal Codes, Meskwaki timber cannot be sold.
