With winter and colder temperatures approaching, we would like to remind community members to check your propane tank gauge levels to ensure you have a sufficient amount of propane.
*Winter Fuels Outlook from the U.S. Energy Information Administration forecast that average U.S. household expenditures for all major home heating fuels will increase significantly this winter primarily due to higher expected fuel costs as well as consumption of energy due to a colder winter. Compared to last winter, the U.S. EIA forecast propane expenditures will rise by 54%, heating oil by 43%, natural gas by 30%, and electricity by 6%.
Propane Safety Reminders:
Check your fuel levels – If at 20% or less please contact your propane supplier to schedule a delivery to avoid running out.
Clear your property – Keep at least an 18-inch wide path to your propane tank clear for propane delivery.
Check your equipment – If you believe that any of your propane equipment has been damaged, contact your propane supplier immediately.
