The Meskwaki Apprenticeship Program held its 2025 Fall Graduation Presentation on Thursday, September 25, at the Meskwaki Veterans Convention Center.
Graduates receiving diplomas from the U.S. Department of Labor included:
Jesse Ortiz – Plumbing
Pfieffer Brown – Electrical (not pictured)
Celsie Van Wey – HVAC/R
Corey Dye – HVAC/R
Family, friends, and colleagues gathered to share a meal, reflect on the program’s year in review, and participate in painting ceiling tiles that will be displayed in the Apprenticeship building. The event also highlighted past accomplishments, upcoming projects, and concluded with an awards presentation.
Graduates were honored with certificates, plaques, and blankets presented by their trainers. In addition, Craft Education Certificates were awarded to apprentices who successfully completed various levels of their training.
Congratulations to all of our Apprentices for your dedication and hard work. Your commitment not only led to the successful completion of this semester but also provided valuable services to the residents of the Meskwaki Nation and Tribal Operations.
