It was a great night of basketball for the Meskwaki Warriors on Friday, February 6th! The JV boys would go into overtime, but fall just short in game that went down to the final seconds.
The Lady Warriors got another W under their belt, and were crowed the 2026 Iowa Star South Conference Champions! Way to go Lady Warriors!
After the girl’s game, all Seniors involved in Winter sports were honored, including Maheengunse Bear, Daelia Lasley, Jace Thompson, Jaycene Pushetonequa, and Dorian Velazquez.
Following the Senior’s presentation, came one of the most intense games of the Warrior’s season. Similar to the JV boys, the Varsity boys would go into overtime, except this time, the Warriors would secure the win. Way to go Warriors for fighting until the very end!
It was great night, and a great season for Warriors basketball!
