The Department of Facilities Management is committed to serving community members, office staff, and the Tribal Council by providing safe, orderly, functional and well maintained facilities, vehicles, and grounds.
Facilities Management is dedicated to support the physical development and growth of the Meskwaki Nation. We are committed to providing quality facilities to enhance and create a dynamic workplace and social environment. Through carefull allocation of our resources and conscientious attention to the ever-changing needs of the Tribe, we strive to maximize our benefit to the community, and are devoted to meeting the current and future goals of the Tribe in a manner conisstent with the values and ethics held by the Meskwaki Nation.
Our primary responsibilities consist of performing maintenance, grounds keeping, and facility improvements for the following Tribal facilities: Tribal Center, Health Clinic plus Annex building, MADAC, Healthy Start, Senior Center, Youth Development, Vocational/Training Center, Family Services, Public Works, Wellness Center, and Meskwaki Housing off site.
The department also provides 24-hour security coverage, oversees property inventory, and monitors the Tribe's vehicle fleet.
